If a Pod has broken during a brew cycle, please follow these steps to clean the grounds out before further use. If the grounds are not removed there could be a chance of leaking on future brew cycles.
- Take out the drip spout, rinse the metal screen and spout, make sure there are no coffee grounds left on screen or in the drip spout;
- Take out the pod holder, rinse and wipe out any grounds. With a damp cloth, wipe away any residue from the brew head. This area may be hot, so use caution when placing your hand in this area.
- Put the pod holder back and press handle down to brew a few cycles of water through to clear out any coffee grounds.
